Evergreen Team: a volunteer committee of public and private leaders met monthly in 2017 to identify some bold ideas for affordable and workforce housing. A panel of committee members will present their recommendations and findings.

Housing Instability: a critical aspect of housing is helping people stay in housing once it has been secured. Learn from experts at UNCC's Urban Institute, Mecklenburg County, and nonprofit partners about housing instability and community efforts to prevent it. 

City of Charlotte: Mayor Vi Lyles has said, "My passion over the years has been housing and that's really something I'm going to be passionate about." Learn from a panel of city leaders how the city is leading on the issue of housing.

Equitable Development: at the Urban Land Institute's Fall 2017 meeting, former Housing Secretary Henry Cicineros launched a book, Building Equitable Cities: How to Drive Economic Mobility and Regional Growth.  Join this panel for a discussion about how equitable development can foster creative urban solutions to the growing problem of inequality.
